Noble Canyon is the jewel of San Diego. Plenty of technical riding with rocks, switchback and narrow single track. Typically a shuttle, but can also be a loop, this trail takes you through mountain alpine meadows and oak covered canopies to typical Southern California chaparral, and then into the sun exposed desert.

The Santa Ana River Trail (SART) is the longest singletrack (about 30 miles) in the Big Bear mountain area. Because you’re starting at about 6,000′ elevation, SART has great views, but it can be cold with snow. Trail rolls and is never all downhill or steady climbing. Grades are mellow and most riders should be able to ride the entire thing.
